This imagined Communication Arts magazine’s Russian Constructivism edition utilized design in a creative way that highlighted the key contributors to the artistic movement. The magazine would cover the 1920’s revolutionary art period within Russia. The overall layout of the magazine is inspired by the collage style that all three artist were known for. Highlighted on the right is the section on the Stenberg Brothers. The color pallet throughout this edition of CA magazine was inspired by the consistent use of red, navy, and yellows that were seen in each of the artists’ work. Each artist used a variety of shapes and imagery in their pieces, and this was what constructed the layout throughout this magazine. Each spread used the same shapes and lines in their own ways, but still remained cohesive.
